Terms and Conditions

Participants must be resident in the UK aged 18 or over (21 in the Channel Islands). To enter the prize draw promotion ("the Promotion"), participants must fully complete their details on this entry form, an online entry form or Direct Mail entry form, and either submit online (online entry) to www.newinsignia.com, or post to 'Vauxhall Insignia Prize Draw', General Motors UK Limited, FREEPOST RRBJ-SAHH-BUXY, 78 Great Eastern Street, London, EC2A 3JL. The prize draw is free and no purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person.
Entries must not be submitted through agents or third parties, and any such entries will be invalid.
The Closing Date for the prize draw will be 23.59 hours GMT on 31st March 2009.
The Promoter will not be held responsible for any entries that are delayed, mutilated, illegible or lost in the post, or for online entries lost in transmission. All entries are the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
There is one prize to be won. The prize consists of the provision of a new Vauxhall Insignia SRi Hatchback 2.0i 16v Turbo, Petrol engine, Manual transmission in Technical Grey Metallic Paint, with Adaptive Forward Lighting for the loan period of 365 days from an agreed date to be agreed between the Winner and the Promoter (which must commence within 2 months of the Winner accepting the prize). The start date of the loan period will be subject to the availability of the vehicle and the winner providing or arranging for the provision of the relevant driving licence as referred to below; and signing the appropriate paperwork (including the loan agreement) and comprehensive insurance policy. The Winner will be responsible for all other costs prior to and after fulfilment of the prize and not otherwise provided herein (including transport to collect the vehicle (from their local Retailer)), fully comprehensive insurance and petrol/lubricants. As a pre-condition to be allowed by the Promoter to drive the loan vehicle referred to pursuant to the fulfillment of the prize, a full current UK/European Union driving licence (or equivalent if non-EU resident) will need to be produced on request (together with other forms of identification to verify the identity of the driver who intends to drive pursuant to the prize, where such licence is not a photo card licence). The Winner will be responsible for fully comprehensive insurance for the duration of the loan of the Vauxhall Insignia SRi Hatchback and the green section of the driving licence (for UK licences) and comprehensive insurance policy will need to be disclosed to the Promoter prior to handover of the loan vehicle. The Winner (and any driver, if different), may be required to comply with the loan terms and conditions for the use of the vehicle.
The Winner will be the first entry randomly selected by an independent adjudicator from all the entry forms received by the Closing Date in respect to this Promotion and other entries in respect to other promotions relating to the same prize. The prize draw will take place on the 6th April 2009. The adjudicator's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Winner will be notified in writing/telephone within 7 days of the draw.
No cash or other alternatives to the prize are available, and the prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, and the prize must be claimed by the person named on the official winning entry form within 14 days of notification. Failure to claim the prize within this period, shall lead to the prize being forfeited and entitle the Promoter to redraw another winner without liability.
The name and county of the Winner can be obtained from The Vauxhall Insignia Brand Manager, General Motors UK Limited, Griffin House UK1 103 315, Osborne Road, Luton, LU1 3YT to those persons sending a stamped addressed envelope addressed "Vauxhall Insignia Prize Draw" between 6th April 2009 to 14th April 2009.
The Promoter reserves the right to photograph and use the name of the Winner for the purpose of publicity without charge, and the Winner hereby consents to the same.
Events may occur that render the event itself or awarding the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and the entrant agrees that no liability shall be attached to the Promoter as a result thereof. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value should this prove necessary.
By entering the Promotion, all entrants confirm they have read accepted and agreed to be bound to the Terms and Conditions of which the application instructions, form part.
Employees and their families of General Motors UK Limited, their associated companies, their dealers and agencies are not eligible for entry.
